Common Questions
What identification is required for notarization?
You must present an original, unexpired, government-issued photo ID (such as a Canadian Passport, Ontario Driver’s License, Ontario Photo Card, PR Card, or foreign passport). Digital copies or expired IDs cannot be accepted.
Is there really no mobile travel fee in Downtown Toronto?
Yes! Within the standard Downtown Toronto service zone, there is no extra travel fee added. You simply pay the transparent per-document fee ($35 for first document, $15 for additional copies). For locations outside downtown, reasonable travel fees apply.
Should I sign my documents before the appointment?
Do NOT sign the document in advance! For affidavits, statutory declarations, and witnessings, you must sign in the physical presence of the Notary Public / Commissioner after swearing or affirming.
How do I claim the Student & Senior $5 discount?
Simply present your valid Student ID card or senior identification (65+) at the time of your appointment, and $5 will be discounted from your first document fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Cash and Interac e-Transfer. An official electronic invoice and receipt can be provided upon request for your records.
